SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

On behalf of the Draper Park Mountain Biking Team, we’d like to extend an invitation to you and your company to become a sponsor of our exciting youth program that provides girls and boys the opportunity to belong to an activity that will develop the love for cycling and contribute to their lifelong health and wellness.

Our team consists of 110 girls and boys in 7th and 8th grade at Draper Park Middle School. We have about 100 volunteer rider leaders and parents that work with the team. Our team is part of the Utah High School Mountain Bike League, an organization that provides mountain biking programs for students in grades 7-12 throughout Utah. The league runs as a separate entity from the public school system and is self-governing, self-funded and insured, and self-supported. The league partners with the local high school club programs to engage teens from all walks of life, with a variety of abilities, to build skills that will last a lifetime. Our goal is to instill in them a love of the sport, confidence in their own abilities, and develop strong character as they work with the club in a competitive environment.

HOW WE BENEFIT FROM YOUR SPONSORSHIP

Mountain biking is not a sanctioned school sport, therefore 100% of the time and expense come from volunteers, student-athletes and sponsors.  As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, your contribution may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

With your help we can provide:

• Scholarship assistance for student-athletes in need.
• Practice equipment and supplies such as first aid kits, tubes, and training necessities.
• Race day supplies such as food, drinks, canopies, chairs, etc.
• Coach training & registration.
